I have an Idea! Just in time for the Ultimate Blog Challenge

I have an idea!  It’s a great idea!  Want to know what it is? Want to know how I got it?  Want to have great ideas of your own?  Well, just keep reading this blog this month and you’ll find the answers to all these questions.

Okay, I’ll share the idea I had right now.

I’ve signed up for the Ultimate Blog Challenge, which means that I have to write a blog every day this month.  That’s thirty-one blogs!  I have to admit, it didn’t take long after I signed up that I started thinking, “What have I done?  What on earth will I write about every day for thirty-one days?”  But I signed up because I was pretty sure that it would motivate me—okay more than motivate me—it would FORCE me to turn out a bunch of blogs and build my base.

I brushed off the niggling thought that thirty-one blogs was an awful lot.  After all, I am an ‘idea person’.  Yes, I am!  It even says that on my resume, so it must be true.  Right up there near the top, in the key skills area, it says, “Idea Person.”  As a certified Idea Person, thirty-one ideas shouldn’t be too difficult, right?

My plan was, of course, like any sane bloggist, to write a bunch of posts ahead so that I would never be in the position, at 8 a.m. of a very busy day, of having no blog to post and absolutely no idea what to blog about.  That was my plan.  Then last night, just two days before the beginning of the Ultimate Blog Challenge—no blogs in the can and no ideas for any—I had an idea! (I knew I would come through, after all, I am an IDEA PERSON!—it’s a key part of my self-image).

I was listening to a Jack Canfield CD and he mentioned someone who has a unique take on ‘to do’ lists (more on that later in the month).  I thought,  “What a great idea!”  And then the lightbulb came on.  I had it—a theme!

So here’s my idea:  I have designated July as the Month of Great Ideas!  All my blog posts – all thirty-one of them will be about great ideas—how to have them, how to grow them, what to do with them, stories about people who have them, and, oh yeah—great ideas themselves.

Not only that!  I’ve decided to host a contest.  If you’ve ever had a great idea, I want to hear about it.  What was it? How did you get it? And what did you do with it?  The best idea, in my opinion and that of the judging team, will win a prize.  A great prize!  One FULL MONTH OF FUTURE PULL COACHING.  So if you have a dream and want to manifest it, enter the GREAT IDEA CHALLENGE and you might win one month of coaching on how to harness the power of Future Pull to turn it into reality.  Not only that, at the end of the month, everyone who has signed up will receive the GREAT IDEAS E-BOOK.  So go sign up here.

So come back tomorrow for the first in a series of blogs on GREAT IDEAS.  In the meantime, suggest some great idea related posts – what would you like to know?
